About Me, Kate

About Me, Kate

It has been three years since I moved from Cape Town, the Mother City of South Africa, to Beira, known as the heart of Mozambique. I am fortunate to live a simple, expat life in a city that is home to around half a million people, many of whom struggle to provide the daily necessities for their families. K8AfriKa is my passion project and I LOVE IT! It is a way of giving extra work to the seamstresses of the Restoring Hope Sewing School. Take a look at their website, and be impressed. The K8AfriKa range offers unique quality goods, made in the beautiful colour fabrics of Mozambique.
